GPS Trackers For Pets-Are They Effective?
When it comes to my family, I can never be too careful. We have a little dachshund named Zeus and I cannot imagine loosing track of our little one. She came to us around three years ago as stray puppy. We combed the neighborhood trying to find her owner with no luck. We found out some time later that she had been abandoned. The owner apparently grew tiresome of her puppy ways and left her in our neighborhood. We adopted little Zeus into our clan and my son blessed her with her namesake. She was less than a year old when she came to us and since has become quite a well-trained pup. About six months after she joined the family we had a GPS tracker attached. After hearing just how effective these gadgets work, I could not think of better fail safe for our own little pup. Not to mention, if the owner decided to take her back, I wanted to know where she would disappear to. The GPS system is wonderful; I can monitor her movements on my notebook computer. The software gives the peace of mind knowing that if we lost Zeus, she could be easily found.
